Exploration Manager
Mr Murray Surtees, B.Sc, MDP, F.Aus.IMM is an experienced exploration geologist, having worked in a management capacity for many years in Africa, South America, Australia and the Near East, exploring for base metals and gold. Latterly he was Exploration Manager Eastern Africa, in charge of 12 countries, for Anglo American plc. Additionally, he has worked in large underground mining operations, as well managing the mining of an exploration adit into a SEDEX deposit, similar to that at Kihabe. Murray is experienced in the evaluation and assessment of the economic viability of mineral properties and projects and has been engaged by Mount Burgess Mining to oversee its day to day operations.
BEN MOSIGI
Director of Mount Burgess (Botswana) (Proprietary) Limited
Ben holds a Diploma in Mining (Haileybury - 1980); B.Sc, in Geology (New Brunswick - 1984) and an M.Sc. in Exploration and Mining Geology (Leicester - 1987). Ben has been extensively involved in various mineral exploration, diamond mining and hydrogeological projects as an employee and later as a consultant for the government and private institutions in Botswana, South Africa and Zimbabwe since 1984.
Serene Chau
Company Accountant & Joint Company Secretary
Serene qualified as a CPA in 2002 and worked within the Accounting Profession with Arthur Anderson and Co and Ernst and Young in Malaysia. In 2004 - 2005 she returned to the University of Western Australia, where she gained her Master of Finance and since then has worked for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu in Perth as a Senior Analyst.
Jan Forrester
Joint Company Secretary
Mrs Forrester joined the Company upon listing in 1985 and was appointed Joint Company Secretary in 1993.
